I have had the privilege of knowing Liz and Adam and photographing their family since 2018 when their littlest was only 6 months old. I have loved every session with them and their session last weekend at Alms Park was no different. They have such a strong family bond that is both beautiful to witness and to photograph. Their oldest daughter was right there ready to help Liz get ready since she was borrowing a dress from my client closet. Their son was ready to help find the perfect dandelions for his little sister. And the genuine laughter between Liz and Adam during their couple photos was so fun.
My favorite locations are ones with architecture and nature because they provide the most variety, and Alms Park has quickly become a new favorite. The pavilion where I got some beautiful photos of Liz and the kids and Adam and the kids has a stunning skyscape lined with trees, and I love the iron fence too. After spending some time there, the sunset was just right for photos with the pergola. The way that the light illuminated the Fenimore family in front of the pergola made for a stunning set of photos, and I’m always impressed with Liz’s outfit coordination!
We ended the session with some special sibling shots and individuals shots of each kid. These kids are darling and so sweet and willing to do everything I asked of them. They love their little sister fiercely, and it’s touching how they make her smile and laugh. They pick her up, hold her, and give her big hugs. She looks up to them adoringly, and it makes my heart melt.
Liz and Adam, thank you for being with me from the very beginning of my business. I am so grateful for you taking a chance on me and trusting me with so many of your family’s memories.
