Courtney + Aaron

One of my favorite parts of owning my own business is the people I get to meet and the connections I get to make.  I have the absolute best clients who send me the best people, and Courtney and Aaron are no exception.  I am so grateful Christa, Courtney’s aunt and my good friend, sent them my way! Another fun connection I have with Courtney is that I taught her sister junior high language arts! Such a small world!

When Courtney emailed me about maternity and newborn photos, I was so excited.  I love the joy and anticipation captured during a maternity session, and I also love getting to know the couple before their newborn session! We chatted about how the two of them met (in physics class in college), how they didn’t find out the gender of the baby, and their mutual love for whippy dip ice cream.

Courtney loves flowers, so The Marmalade Lily was the perfect location for their sunset session.  When she showed up in a long, flowy blue dress, I knew that that combined with the colorful blooms would be magical! I love the way the soft tones of their outfits contrast with all the green from the trees and the red and white flowers.

Courtney and Aaron, you are such a sweet couple, and I had so much fun talking and laughing with you at your session. You two are going to be amazing parents! I can’t wait to meet your little one, see your book themed nursery, and document your first family photos!
